Yes, you will need a Saginaw pump tool. Most auto parts stores will loan you one. |
| Is this a narrow groove pulley? |
Yes, this is stock GM pulley. We have used the narrow pulley for years. The key is running the narrow belt. A wide belt on a narrow pulley does not work and will jump. The narrow belt will run fine on your stock wide harmonic balancer. Yes, a wide pulley would be nice, but it is cost prohibitive to make short run custom pulleys. |
