Have bigger tire or an aluminum tub on your FJ40?  As you well know, the body will get ripped up from the constant vibration and shaking of the stock tire carrier.  This is what you need.  In our opinion as well as those who are running it, this is the best tire carrier ont he market.  Undoubtedly, the fit and finish are the best on the market.  Where as most bumper look as if they were made in a backyard, this bumper has the fit and finish that are equal or greater than that of your Land Cruiser. 

This off road bumper and tire carrier fits your Land Cruiser FJ40 73 up.  Will fit a 72 down by drilling 4 holes.

We spent 6 months testing, and tweaking to get this bumper to you.  This is a a great looking, great performing tire carrier / bumper combo.  We are very proud of this bumper because of it's combination of great looks, functionality, ruggedness, and price.  We believe this bumper to be the best aftermarket spare tire/bumper combo on the market.  The strength is amazing, we have stood on the carriers while open.  The fit and finish are excellent.

There are several things that are important to notice:

• Tail lights are still visible
• Direct bolt on for all 73 up Cruisers, 72 down will have to simply redrill for bumperette end holes.
• Indicators are still visible on sides, yet protected
• Better departureangle, bumper vastly improves dragging rear
• Tire is centered so that the weight is evenly distributed preventing one spring from sagging
• Tire mount plate is adjustable depending on the depth of your wheel
• Carrier locks open for off camber openings
• Tire carrier works with aftermarket tailgates
• Spindle is serviceable (if needed)
• Virtually any size tire is compatible, 38's already tested
• Catch is chamfered to have tight rattle free closure
• Catch pin is drilled so you can apply massive torque to close if desired
• Bumper mount feature chain slots or D-Ring holes
• Bumper can be used with or without JTO Receiver hitch
• Bumper is CNC cut and Robotically welded for superior quality
• Unit is finished in durable powdercoating
